How Sudoku works
Fill every empty cell with a number from 1 to 9. Each number can appear only once in every row, once in every column, and once in each 3×3 box. The fixed numbers are clues and cannot be changed.

- Use Erase to remove one of your entries.
- Hint fills one useful cell when you need help.
Sudoku solving tips
Look for rows, columns, or boxes that are almost complete. Eliminate numbers that already appear nearby, then place a number only when one valid position remains. Work gradually instead of guessing.

Is there a time limit?
No. The clock tracks your solving time, but you can take as long as you need.
What does mistake check do?
When enabled, an incorrect number is highlighted so you can correct it immediately.
